With a desire to express individual unique style, fashion crazy and promote new trends, fans came out in their best, most colorful, eccentric and most impressive ensembles to the 2017 Afropunk Arts Festival which held from the 26th-27th of August 2017 at the Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn, New York.
Fans dug into their diverse individuality and fashion expression to showcase unique style at the festival.
With colorful Afros, curly hair, low cuts, braids, head ties and hats, the fans were as expressive with their hairstyles as they were with their clothing and jewelry.
There were colorful eye makeup, hair beads, cowrie necklaces, sunshades, body paints and many other statement, top of the art accessories.
