With the changing, more accepting attitude towards fashion and style in Nigeria, I can picture someone wearing the blue blouse with ‘oh’ inscriptions printed in white featuring cut-outs at the chest downwards in Enugu, she will look really bold and daring; for myself I will personally pair that blouse with white shorts, it will definitely look nice.

This is Maki Oh’s 2017 Fall Collection, a collection inspired by a lady’s daily Lagos commute. There’s a transitioning from one aspect of daily life to another in this collection presented through day wears to evening wears finally ending with bed time wears.

Flared pants, skinny jeans and shiny leather trousers add ‘hip’ style to the ready to wear pieces, while a red sheath dress add glamour and class to a perfect evening out with friends and lovers. With the latest ‘pajama as day wear’ trend, Maki Oh’s pajama switch make a great switch from night time to day time.
