Not many people get to meet their role models but for some people, it is possible to relive them through play acting and dress up.
Hillary Clinton, Madonna, Dolly Parton, Joan of Arc, Frida Khalo, Cleopatra, Queen Elizabeth 1, Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O, Mother Theresa, Malala Yousafazi, Amelia Earhart, Betsy Rose, Marie Curie, Julie Child are some of the world’s women who through their voice, art, political and social inputs, intellect, courage have contributed in shaping and transforming the world, and Baby Liberty Jaine Wexler gets the sweet role of dressing up as these powerful women, even if it’s for a few minutes.
With her adorable smile, four months old Little Liberty has so far played over 30 characters.
Baby Liberty’s mum, Jenelle Wexler whose idea it first was to shoot Liberty as these women, is tasked with the huge responsibility of selecting, researching each female role model based on traits such as courage, intellect and historical accomplishments, finding and sewing suitable costumes and backgrounds.
The photoshoots also involve Lady Liberty’s older brother, River and her father, and according to Jenelle Wexler, it is also a fun, creative way to celebrate women who are strong, brave, intelligent, hardworking, entertaining, loving and sincere and actually empower the world.
