Celebrity Weekend Style Recap

Adut Akech walked the runway for Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer ’19 show at the NYFW, in a tiered lemon green dress, paired with a fascinator, box bag and black sequin tights.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’ s On the Run Tour II made a stop at Houston and with the tour’s usual fascinating performances, came Beyoncé’s style moments. From her signature beach wave blonde hair to her notorious bespoke bodysuits, Bey’ s green long-sleeved dress with dotted sequins, side ruching and slit was unusual, unique and classic.

Rita Dominic, Nigeria’s numero uno style icon channeled the Victorian era in a white, off-the-shoulder dress with lace details, puffy sleeves, bishop cuffs and beaded embellishments. Paired with silver jewelry and a gold and silver panelled purse, Rita Dominic, stunned in the couture dress by Nigerian fashion designer, Tubo.

Rihanna promoting Savage X Fenty’s latest pieces is among the highlights from last week. The singer and entrepreneur, modeled the Savage X Bralette and Bikini in platinum, from the IAMSAVAGE Collection.

InStyle Magazine featured singer, Sia and designer Christian Siriano. For the magazine, Sia was dressed in an all red ensemble by Christian Siriano, featuring a red tiered dress with cape and a large hair bow.

Zainab Balogun in a royal blue Xenia blouse and Celia pants by Nigerian fashion designer, The Muse Factory is my personal favorite from this Celebrity Style Recap. The notable style influencer wore the look to the premiere of the Sylvia movie.

Jimmy Choo’s MADALIE ankle boots is my favorite shoe-of-the-moment. The ankle boot comes in a rich dark blue color, heels and has an easy slouchy style.

Yvonne Nelson
Menaye Donkor

For the 2018 Miss Universe Ghana finale held in Accra, Ghana, we found more stunning celebrity styless. From Yvonne Nelson in a one shoulder, embellished black dress by @quophiakoutuahghana, to Menaye Donkor in a blue off-the-shoulder dress by Ghanaian designer, Yartelgh, the weekend was interesting, style wise.

Happy new week everyone.
